Taylor & Hill is currently seeking a Cost Analyst in the Texas City area. The primary responsibilities of the Cost Analyst will include the following:
· Perform Cost Analyst roles as needed to support Engineering and Capital Projects.
· Create service and material requisitions in SAP for the Engineering department. Ensure that purchase orders and work orders are set-up in accordance with established WBS Structures and project estimates.
· Converts proposals and material requests from Engineers and Engineering Firms into SAP requisitions, assuring accurate and complete data is provided in requisitions.
· Manage supplier relationships for the execution of purchase orders.
· Knowledgeable understanding of SAP transaction codes used in the procurement, inventory, and cost management processes.
· Proactively expedite orders through to successful completion, ensuring proper goods receipting for timely paying of vendors.
· Manage invoice approval process, AP escalation process, and problem resolution. Analyze and fix blocked invoices, GR/IR items to ensure prompt supplier payment.
· Assist Project Controls Specialist with generation of monthly cost reports and preparation of cost workbooks.
· Assist Project Controls Specialist with month end accruals and updating projects in SAP.
· Assist the TRACK Administrator with PO related issues.
· Develop Change Notices, Create Work Orders, Create Purchase Order and Change Logs.
· Assist Project Controls Specialist with project closeout, including working with buyers to de-commit and close purchase orders.
· Analyze, prepare, and issue routing reports for Project Managers
